APPLICATION TO ENTER DISCLAIMER/ENDORSEMENT/REMOVAL ON TRADE MARK REGISTRATION in Namibia
Are you thinking of submitting an application to enter disclaimer, endorsement or removal on trade mark registration in Namibia? If you have a registered trademark in Namibia and wish to add or remove a disclaimer or endorsement to it, you will need to fill out Form No TM 21.
Here is a step-by-step guide to completing the form:
- Download the Form No TM 21 from the website of the Ministry of Industrialisation and Trade of Namibia.
- Fill out the “Grounds for application” section. In this section, you will need to provide the following information:
- The trademark number and class number to which the disclaimer/endorsement/removal will be applied
- Whether you are requesting a disclaimer, endorsement, or removal
- The exact wording of the disclaimer/endorsement
- The reasons for the request
- Fill out the “Applicant/Agent” section. In this section, you will need to provide the following information:
- Your name or the name of the agent making the application
- Your address
- Your telephone number
- Your email address
- Submit the form and pay the required fees. The fees for the application can be found on the Ministry of Industrialisation and Trade’s website.
- Wait for the application to be processed. It may take several weeks for the application to be processed and for the requested changes to be made to the trademark registration.
