The School of Science, in collaboration with the Centre for Quality Assurance Management, Centre for Innovation in Learning and Teaching (CILT), and the Department of Computing, Mathematics and Statistical Sciences, presents six unique financial courses designed to suit your needs.
Here’s a breakdown of the Short Courses:
- Financial Risk Management (13 weeks, N$15,000)
- Advanced Financial Risk Management Level I (13 weeks, N$18,250)
- Quantitative Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management (13 weeks, N$6,600)
- Stress Testing and Risk Integration (13 weeks, N$6,600)
- Credit Risks Analysis and Modelling (13 weeks, N$6,600)
- Bank Supervision and Capital Adequacy (13 weeks, N$6,600)
All courses are held in the evenings, from 17h00 to 20h15, and include a 2023 registration fee of N$1,260. Payment can be made in installments. Companies and organizations are encouraged to sponsor their candidates, as these courses are an investment in their employees’ future.
How to apply for Short Courses at UNAM
To apply, send an email with the following documents to frm@unam.edu.na:
- Completed signed application form
- Grade 12 certificate and after-school qualifications (if any)
- ID copy
- Employment letter in the financial industry or experience letter
- Proof of payment of the application fee (use your name as reference)
Deadline for application for Short Courses at UNAM
Deadlines for submission of applications are:
- For the February intake: last working day of January of the same year
- For the August intake: last working day of June of the same year
