PETE is a special programme offered by the Namibian College of Open Learning (NAMCOL) to provide access to higher education for individuals who may not have met the traditional entry requirements for science and technology programmes. PETE aims to address the low admission rates for disadvantaged groups and improve gender equality in higher education.

Entry Requirements

To apply for PETE, candidates must submit their applications at NAMCOL’s regional and sub-regional offices. The selection process includes preliminary screening of applications and an aptitude test. Candidates must have at least an E symbol in the four target subjects and be prepared to write the aptitude test.
