Step-by-Step Guide to NUST Registration: A Complete Guide for New & Continuing Students
NUST Registration is now open! I am excited to write a post about online registration at the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) for the 2023 academic year. Whether you are a new or continuing student, this guide will assist you in completing the online registration process seamlessly.
Registration Dates
First of all, please note that the registration for senior students will take place online only, from 09 January 2023 to 03 February 2023. On the other hand, new students will have the opportunity to register on campus from 26 January 2023 to 01 February 2023 and will be assisted by our dedicated staff with the online registration system.
If you are an undergraduate applicant, who meets the admission requirements for the programme you applied for, you are invited to attend the final selections, taking place from 23 to 31 January 2023 at 08h00 daily. During the final selections, you will receive full admission into the programme you applied for based on the points you scored in the final school examinations. Please make sure to bring your results and identity document with you.
Please note that certain applicants such as those who applied for postgraduate programmes, Advanced Standing or Mature Age Entry Scheme, and international applicants do not need to attend the final selections. If you applied to register at a NUST Regional Centre or Eenhana Campus, you will need to visit those locations during NUST registration from 25 January 2023 to 01 February 2023.
For full-time, distance, or part-time mode at the main campus in Windhoek, kindly note that your first-choice programme will receive preference during final selections. If you do not secure a space in your first-choice programme, you are welcome to enrol for other programmes of study you qualify for during the late registration period from 06 to 10 February 2023.
Late Registration
In case you missed the NUST registration dates, don’t worry! You will have another chance to register from 06 to 10 February 2023.

You will only be able to register for the loan if you have a Letter of Confirmation that states the loan amount approved for you. If you are a new loan holder, you must pay the registration deposit in full. It will be refunded once NSFAF has paid the loan. Loan holders must have a passing result code each year to continue receiving the loan.
