Firstly, if you notice a spelling mistake on your birth certificate, you can correct it by submitting a Correction Form along with your original birth certificate and documents that prove the requested change issuance. This service costs N$ 30.

Re-registration (Children under 16 years)

For children under 16 years old, a re-registration of their birth certificate can be done free of charge. This service costs N$ 220, and additional charges will be incurred for advertising.

Submission for Change of Surname
