  1. A minimum of 28 points and a D in English as a second language from grade 11 of the Namibia Senior Secondary Certificate Ordinary (NSSCO). The subjects must at least include science subjects, including biology.
  2. A minimum of 26 points and a D in English as a second language from the Namibian Senior Secondary Certificate Advanced Subsidiary (NSSCAS) grade 12. The subjects must at least include science subjects, including biology.
  3. A minimum of 25 points with a minimum of D symbol in English Language from the former grade 12 NSSCO or NSSCH. The subjects must at least include science subjects, including biology.
