Personalised Licence Numbers (PLN) with Namibia‘s Flag
Personalised Licence Numbers (PLN) are special number plates for your vehicle. You can choose what they say, up to seven letters, numbers, or a mix of both. These plates also have the Namibian flag and the letters “NA” to show they are from Namibia. In this guide, we will explain everything you need to know about getting a PLN.
How to Apply
PLN Application Form Available at NaTIS Offices
To apply for a PLN, follow these steps:
- Go to a NaTIS office and get the application form.
- Fill in the form and attach a copy of your certified ID.
- Write down the meaning of your three choices for the PLN on the form.
- Submit the form to the NaTIS office near you.
After approval, you’ll get a confirmation letter within two working days. You’ll then have 21 days to pay N$1800 for your plates. If you miss this deadline, your PLN choice will be made available to others.
How the Plates Are Issued
