How to Complete the CC7 Form for Annual Duty Return in Namibia
Do you want to know how to complete the CC7 form? If you are a corporation registered with the Business and Intellectual Property Authority (BIPA) in Namibia, you are required to file an annual duty return using the CC7 form. This form helps BIPA to maintain accurate records and collect annual fees from corporations.
Here are the steps to follow to complete the CC7 form.
Step 1: Provide Your Corporation’s Name and Postal Address
Enter the name of your corporation and its postal address in the space provided at the top of the form. Also, include your corporation’s registration number. This information will help BIPA to identify your corporation.
Step 2: Indicate the End of Your Financial Year
In section A, indicate the end of your corporation’s financial year by recording the date in the space provided. If you make any corrections or have any enquiries, record the date and initials of the person making the corrections or enquiries.
Step 3: Provide Your Corporation’s Date of Incorporation or Conversion
In section B, enter the date your corporation was incorporated or converted. This will help BIPA to determine how long your corporation has been in existence.
Step 4: List Your Corporation’s Members and Their Percentage Interest
In section C, list your corporation’s members and their percentage interest in the corporation at the end of the current financial year. You should include at least five members, but if you have more than five members, you can make a copy of this page to list all your members.
Step 5: Provide Proof of Payment of Annual Duty and/or Additional Fee
In section D, provide proof of payment of your corporation’s annual duty and/or any additional fee as prescribed in terms of Section 32 of the BIPA Act. Currently, the annual duty fee is N$ 120.00.
Step 6: Sign and Date the Form
In section E, sign and date the form to confirm that the information provided is accurate and complete.
Step 7: Provide Contact Details of Members or Witnesses
In the last section of the form, provide the contact details of at least one member or witness. This information is required by BIPA to verify the accuracy of the information provided on the form.
Additional Information Required
Please note that in addition to the requirements of this Act and Regulations, any additional information requested is in terms Section 4 of the Financial Intelligence Act, 2012 (Act No. 13 of 2012), as well as the Regulations thereunder. This means that BIPA may request additional information from you to comply with the Financial Intelligence Act.
